She was born and raised in Houston Texas she aspired to become an actor ever since she was just a kid. Following graduation from University of Texas and a determination to go into professional acting after which she moved to the west. She was a model for print and began her acting career by appearing in commercials. Her first TV appearance was as an extra in the TV show Friday Night Lights. Initially, she played minor roles in TV shows such as A Thin Line Supah Ninjas as well as How I Met Your Mother. In the year 2000, her filming career began with Detention along with DisCONNECTED. Kristina was her biggest career break when she played the character in General Hospital. Her appearance in the drama lasted for around an entire period of a year. It was her turn to play in the role of Raven Reyes, the mechanic in The 100's science-fiction show. It was a big boost to her career. It was originally an supporting character, but her role has evolved into one of its main leads.
