Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer who has been recognized for her stellar performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. Holly Hunter was awarded numerous prizes and awards, among them the Oscar for her film Piano. At a young age, the accomplished actress began acting on stage in various Broadway or Off Broadway productions. The actress has always had an interest in acting ever since she started high school. Her debut role in a production in fifth grade was as Helen Keller. After suffering from the mumps, she became blind on the other side of her ears. However, this didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. As a teenager, Hunter studied drama before moving in New York City. Hunter had her Broadway debut following a chance meeting with Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. After moving to Los Angeles, Hunter tried to get films to play. The role of a supporting actress was secured in Swing Shift. In the last three decades she's appeared in numerous TV shows and films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
